Description
Nice and large drageoir in opaline rice paste dating from the Napoleon III period. This vase is made of molded glass, colored in the mass (opaline paste of rice), very used in the realization of the usual objects under Napoleon III. The decoration represents the nature in yellow and green tints. A bird is immersed in the heart of multiple flowers and foliage.
The drageoir is a cup or a vase used to put sugared almonds, sweets or spices.
