Description
Daniel Klein is a painter, born in 1946 and passed away in 2014. He began his career in advertising, while being a concert pianist and photographer on the side. In 1993, he discovered Chinese calligraphy through the works of Buddhist monks. This discovery marked the beginning of his activity as a painter. Influenced by Chinese calligraphy, Daniel Klein’s works stand out due to its abundant strokes, in Indian ink. This gives body to the work, the artist creates scenes by coloring empty spaces. Gradually, the artist’s work evolved, the black strokes were more and more present.
