Renato Criscuolo’s painting reveals a unique sensitivity in the layout of the subjects, with colors that dont scream but slowly and warmly insinuate themselves into the work as a whole, giving a sense of entirety and harmony.
Between 2015 and 2017 Criscuolo begins to evolve his style by abandoning the figurative painting in favor of color in its purest form.
“Schegge di emozioni” (“Splinters of emotions”) shows the artist’s most introspective and visionary side, a careful and never trivial study on the perception of colors.
A creative vivacity that shows how Criscuolo is constantly looking for new solutions and ideas for his works.
