Oil on canvas signed Andr Le Guen.This Breton born in Carhaix in 1929 has been painting since the age of 16.A keen traveler, he silhouettes Europe and the landscapes he encounters.
In this work, Le Guen depicts a coastal landscape with a cloud-laden sky. Windsurfers move about on a choppy sea, its waves crashing against the rocks.A few houses and buildings overlook the coastline.
You can imagine smelling the sea spray and hearing the seagulls.
