Jules Gurin ”Sang de Boeuf” Unique Studio Pottery Dish. Belgium, 1960s. This is a wonderful unique studio pottery dish by the famous Belgian pottery workshop Gurin, at that time under guidance of Jules Gurin – the son of Roger Gurin. A very distinct piece with a stunning colour – Sang de Boeuf red. Thick and rich glaze, with wonderful sea blue / green details and a very distinct hand made quality to it. Very elegant and timeless. A wonderful piece to enjoy on your desk, sideboard or table. A great and unique piece of mid-century Belgian studio pottery from the Charleroi region, the centre of the Walloon art pottery production in the middle of the 20th century. Great vintage condition with no faults.
