Description
Rare wall mounted wall shelf designed by the well known artist Constant Nieuwenhuijs in 1956 for ‘t Spectrum.
This shelf was only in production for 1 year and therefore not offered a lot.
Constant Nieuwenhuys was a member of the CoBrA movement and he’s also known for his visionary architectural work, known as ‘New Babylon’.
The shelf is made of red wire metal and still has its original paint.
It is in very good condition, only little traces of wear.
