Signed at the base with a registered signature and in ink of manufacturing and the designer.
The Boulenger Loza Factory in Choise Roy takes the name of its last owners, who directed it from 1836 until its closure in 1938. Under the direction of Hippolyte Boulenger (1863-1892), the Loza factory experienced spectacular growth. In 1878, the family business became a corporation and took the name of “Socit Hippolyte Boulenger et Compagnie.” Work is reorganized to increase production. The factory manufactures dishes, decorative objects, tiles … that sells in France and worldwide.
