Description
A rare and stunning set of beautiful bubble glass wall lights designed by Helena Tynell for Glashtte Limburg. A design classic, the amber colored or toned of the hand blown glass gives a wonderful and warm glow. Helena Tynell is a Finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in Helsinki between, 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the Finnish glass company Riihimki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960, m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashtte Limburg and Fostoria glass. Heavy quality and in excellent vintage condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use Each light requires one single E27 screw fit light bulb (60 Watt max).
