Description
French terracotta tian or bowl traditionally used to prepare confit before to conserve it in confit pots in South West France. This vessel was also used to prepare any type of food from the 19th to the mid-20th century. The round handmade terracotta bowl features a server spout, and is glazed on the inside with natural earthenware finish on the outside. Very decorative. Good authentic patina, made by use and age. Good antique condition.
