Exquisite small Chinese rug from late 19th century Beijing. Hand-knotted with wool on cotton, this rug features a stunning Chinese design. A decorative medallion with sky-blue lines and stylized flowers is set against a deep midnight blue background. Dragons and interwoven sky-blue lines adorn both ends of the field. The border is also adorned with decorative interwoven sky-blue lines that encircle the rug.
