Description
Painting depicting view of Piazza San Marco in Venice.
Scenic painting made in oil on canvas placeable in the second half of the 20th century.
A modern view of St. Mark’s Square, the artist, who is unfortunately unknown, focused particularly on his view of the Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, which are in the left foreground and occupy almost the entire scene.
On the square one can appreciate numerous characters wearing ancient clothing, despite the more modern style of the painting.
The island of San Giorgio Maggiore can be glimpsed in the distance.
The work is extremely decorative and is ideal for decorating your rooms.
The painting is in excellent conservation condition and comes with a frame.
