Description
Very rare armchair model no 7, designed in 1919 by modernist pioneer Willem Penaat for the directors office of the Dutch Post (PTT).
The design is clear and honest with charming details like the tiny wooden dowels instead of screws. Much of Penaat’s archive got lost during the war. It’s great to be able to attribute this one to him. As it was only made for the directors office in the Hague, it is very rare to find one.
