This engraving is part of “Album Fenaille” or “Album Goupil”, a work devoted to the drawings of Auguste Rodin, published in 1897. It contains a majority of drawings related to
Hell of Dante and which we generally group together under the name of “black drawings”.
A copy of this precious album is in the archives of the Muse Rodin.
