Description
Beautiful rustic hand carved Black Forest Wall Mirror from Austria, circa 1870. This so-called “black forest” style wall mirror has been artrtfully hand carved out of basswood in the manner of tree branches showing a dark brown/ black surface, sealed by a mat varnish finish. The late 19th century mirrors glass was renewed during the restoration process. A hand forged ring on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
