Artichoke ceiling lamp in the Van Poulsen style. White lacquered sheet.
The form of the lamp consists of overlapping plates of different diameters that form layers, hence the name artichoke. It is an example of Scandinavian Modernism based on an iconic design that has become a permanent feature of design icons. Characteristic for the design of the 60s and 80s.
Overhang in the form of a long cable that allows the lamp to be hung at different heights. Entry for a bulb with a large thread.
