Description
This pretty pair of bronze vases is from the 19th century, it is a Napoleon III work of Asian inspiration. On the top is a butterfly, a salamander on the bottom with stones.
We managed to decipher the marking: “HT brand deposited”.
Everything is in gilded bronze with a pretty gilding.
However, we signal friction and wear, scratches and micro-scratches. Note that the vases are slightly blackened. There are black spots on the tail and under the head of the salamander. The little butterfly on the top of the vase moves slightly.
