Description
Marcelle Lender en Buste is a lithograph realized after the homonymous work by Toulouse-Lautrec of 1895. Limited edition of 1.000 specimens. Very good conditions. Henri de Tolouse-Lautrec (1864-1901), Lautrec is one of the main representative of the French Art Movement Post-Impressionism. Whit opening of the Moulin Rouge cabaret, Toulouse Lautrec produced a series of posters. He was fully integrated to the bohemian world and spent time a lot of time in dance halls, nightclubs, and cabarets. Lautrec became famous in the entertainment industry and was often commissioned to advertise famous performers. Between sadness and entertainments, he painted dancehall performers and prostitutes.
