After technical studies, he enrolled at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. Later, he moved to Paris where he joined the Lettrist movement in 1964 and became one of its leading figures. Painter, writer, architect, photographer, poet and critic, Alain Sati is also a professor of art history at the Leonardo da Vinci University. He mainly studies the specificities of the current avant-gardes in order to identify their confused state.
