Description
This British army light dates from the 1940s.
Manufactured by the renowned English manufacturer Simplex Electric Company, this lamp is made of cast aluminum with a cast iron base.
Its very thick and translucent glass has a concentric gadroon shape.
The glass is protected by a removable grid.
The metal has been polished by a professional in order to bring out the aerodynamic shape of the barrel and the relief of its fins.
The polishing has been accentuated so as to have an almost mirror effect on the edge and the upper surface which sublimates the lettering of the marking of the model in relief.
A rare and unique piece that produces very interesting lighting to light up a room or light a wall by placing it at its foot.
Re-electrified, standard bayonet socket compatible LED.
