Description

A spectacular circular ceramic wall light with beautiful glazed patterning. Manufactured in Denmark in the 1970s. Labelled and signed by Axella, in excellent condition. Axella was found in the 70s in Denmark by Aksel Larsen, who later changed his name to Axella Keramik. The company, which produced impeccable, classic 1970’s style lamps, closed in 1987. The designer Jette Hellere worked for a short period in collaboration with Axella. Takes and comes with two small screw bulbs which are easily available and have recently been replaced. 35.5cm / 14″ diameter with UK plug, Supplied with adapter for US buyers.
