Description
Friso Kramer DZ05 ‘Deurne’ Wire Coat Rack for ‘t Spectrum, Bergeijk, The Netherlands, 1956. Wonderful modernist wire frame coat rack by famous Dutch designer Friso Kramer (1922-2019). A great mid-century design which is timeless, yet very elegant. This is the largest version with seven coat hangers. Called ‘Deurne’ after a Dutch town – as all the designs by ‘t Spectrum in those years were given names of Dutch villages. Comes in a good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use – marks on the black paint and some bending.
