Description
Ergonomic Doe Meer Chair designed and made at Tan Sad, England for Ahrend in ca. 1920. This chair is from the fifties. Workers often worked in factories on benches without backs. The luxurious Doe More chair was therefore far ahead of its time. In the Netherlands this chair was marketed by Ahrend. It can rotate and both the seat height and the backrest are adjustable. Considering its age in good but used condition. The frame has clear traces of wear to the paint, which also has its charm. The construction is still fine. The seat and backrest were reupholstered a year ago with orange rib fabric. Material: metal, wood and corduroy. Dimensions: h x w x d = 82 x 39 x 49 cm and the seat height is adjustable from 43 -53 cm. Marked: Tan-Sad.
