1960’s Original French Tolix Square Outdoor Dining Table – White Square (Model 1153) Tolix is one of our all time favourite companies. In 1907 Frenchman Xavier Pauchard discovered that he could protect sheet metal from rusting by dipping it in molten zinc (galvanisation) and a few years later he set up his factory producing steel furniture. Tolix used their metal working skill to also produce exquisitely designed but practical cafe/dining tables to partner their chairs. This is their simple square design popular throughout France. The table is in one piece in exceptional original condition with a knee height clearance of 70cm. Rich original character the table has been cleaned and serviced in our own workshops. Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
