What a great find this statue is! Made out of blown glass with hand molded details. The fish is unique glass sculpture produced in Czechoslovakia in the mid-century design era. The Czech glass makers were top of their class in Europe in 1960s and most of the work that they left behind them is still very popular. Mainly because of the unique style and beautiful, detailed work. The fish is made of a combination of colorful glass finished in one elegant piece. The fish is in excellent condition. On the bottom side there is one glass mould which looks like a damage, but it is original and on the inside of the piece. Plus this is on the bottom side, so not visible when the statue is standing. Great piece with lots of amazing presence!
