Description
This series of elephants/mammoths, bears, monkeys etc was designed by the Danish ceramist Knud Kyhn (KK) all the way back in 1929-36. Hugely inspired by the sung glazes applied in Axel Salto’s and Bode Willumsen’s designs these naturalistic figurines were very popular. This particular monkey sculpture dates from the 1950s and is executed in stoneware. Designs number: 20216 Fully marked and signed to its base. Measurements: H: 15 cm, W: 10 cm, Dept: 10 cm
