Description

Large glazed stoneware hawk designed by the Danish ceramist Knud Kyhn (KK) all the way back in 1935-40. Hugely inspired by the sung glazes applied in Axel Salto’s and Bode Willumsen’s designs these naturalistic figurines were very popular. This particular hawk dates from the 1950s and is executed in stoneware. Designs number: 21407. Fully marked and signed to its base. Measurements: H: 28 cm.
