Vintage, mid-cenury, plantstand/side table/ entryway table with 2 shelves, circa 1960’s.
Piece is made of solid oak, with a golden-oak colored finish, resting on 4, spindle legs, with a glossy; ebonized finish.
The base has a black formica trim, and measures at 85.5 cm wide, with a depth of 35.5 cm, making it large enough to place books, a phone or other useful/decorative objects. On top of the base, there are two shelves placed at different levels, (see dimensions below), which give a nice symmetry to the piece. In between the base and top shelf, there’s a black, ornamentally designed piece of dcor made of wrought iron.
Piece is in overall very good; vintage and original condition; with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a nice patina of time, on the overall structure, (see multiple photos.)
Piece has been gently cleaned; oiled and waxed, with respect to its original patina of time.
