Description
Serafino Ferraro is a talented potter from Vallauris whose reputation is built on his mastery of colorful, brilliant and surprising crystallized enamels. The ceramic here signed by his hand is of a completely different register. A stoneware piece with sober country accents, this wide-necked pitcher has a creamy, thick, brown-speckled enamel. This rustic and artisanal piece is beautifully made.
The stoneware pitcher bears the handwritten signature of Serafino Ferraro in Vallauris. It is in very good condition. The ceramic is thick, nicely worked; the model is interesting.
12-20cm in diameter, 19.5cm in height.
