Description
Warhol Art Cash (Ones) is a vintage offset and lithograph print, part of the Art Cash Triptych realized by by Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Marisol, Red Grooms, Tom Gormley, and Bob Whitman in 1971. Hand signed by the artist. The banknotes were made for the fundraising event in support of Experiments in Art and Technology – E.A.T. to be used at the casino game tables set up for the occasion and to purchase the donated works of art. Each banknote was designed by a different artist, Warhol, Raushenberg, Whitman, Gormley, Grooms and Marisol. Warhol creates the one from ‘One’ printed by the American Banknote Company with the same card used for the US currency.
