Description
1960s White Benjamin Enamelled Pendant Lamps 18 inch. Benjamin was arguably the market leader in industrial lighting in the 1930s through to 1960s. Their main market was providing tough enamelled lamps to large factories. Made from spun and enamelled steel they are in a rare white enamel. The lamps were covered in paint, grease and dirt which was removed to reveal lamps in exceptional original condition. Six available, they are being sold singularly. These lamps are strong visual statements perfect for a hall, contemporary kitchen or living space. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of wire for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black silk covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum.
