Description
The Light House, Aberdeen is a lithograph on paper realized by the artist W.H. Bartlett. Signed on the plate on the lower left. Titled on the lower center. The state of preservation is good, only a yellowed paper along the edges and some foxing that doesen’t affect the image. William Henry Bartlett (1809 -1854). He was a British artist known for his drawings, engravings. He was apprenticed to the architect and antiquarian, and he studied drawings .He became one of the foremost illustrators of topography of his generation. He first came to the United States in 1835 to draw the buildings, towns and landscape.
